The Main Lodge is our big, breezy upstairs space where families and small groups can actually spread out. You'll have front and back lanais up in the canopy, with screened windows that keep the air moving and the jungle sounds flowing through like you're in a treehouse.

Inside, we set it up so you can truly live here for a few days: full kitchen for cooking your market finds, comfortable beds with mosquito netting, and a large common area where kids can play games while someone stirs a pot on the stove. It's a good home base if you're spending days at Volcano National Park or the nearby black sand beach and want to come back to real quiet and a hot meal.

You'll share the building with us down below (separate entrances), so you'll hear the soft clatter of farm life in the mornings instead of traffic. Some guests stay a single night on their way around the island, others settle in for a whole weekend to soak up the farm rhythm. Either way, the Main Lodge gives you that "old Hawaii" jungle lodge feel with the comforts you actually need.
